After countless years and numerous trials, I finally bought a new amp. And it is exactly what I wanted. I mean, if I could have my choice of any amp, this would be the one I choose. I had seen this at the Flint Guitar Center in the "Used" section two or three months ago and assumed it had to be gone by now. So I went in to browse and couldn't believe it was still there. And it turns out, it wasn't even used. It was just a floor model that was on clearance. So I got a serious deal. I'm still having difficulty believing this worked out so well. Tomorrow, I'll probably celebrate by taking it up to a mountaintop and playing "Where The Streets Have No Name."
